Oh I've been done with Cachy for awhile, I switched to NixOS. I just like having everything there in front of me plus using comma to run stuff without installing it is awesome.

It's because Reddit Mods, all of them, are spineless shills that are SO terrified of pissing off Reddit admins and losing their unpaid jobs/power trips. that's all it is. they're all the same. every. single. one. of them.
yeah when I first switched to Linux everyone suggested Mint to me, like they always do, so I tried that. It was miserable, didn't work well with my Nvidia GPU, and almost made me go back to Windows. then someone suggested CachyOS to me and I'm glad they did.

I'm probably of the minority here but I really liked Jellico. yes he was stern, yes he was strict, but there was just something about him that I liked.

And you're right about the ships post TNG. They went from "we love exploring" to "we gotta fight the dominion and the borg and our ships need to look the part" Just give me more of the curvy yet powerful looking designs from TNG again. And I mean sure it's not like there were many in TNG, hell the Nebula was just a Galaxy with no neck and an upsidedown stardrive but god dammit I liked it.

It's a "first world" nation where the citizens taxes will go more towards military spending as opposed to infrastructure.
There's nothing "first world" about the united states of america. It's a country built on a system that was designed to prevent uprisings. If you protest constantly for change there's the strong likely hood that you'll lose your job, thus your healthcare, thus your ability to eat.
