the thing about balding that I didn't expect is how fast the hair I have left grows. It's like I have to shave it every week if I don't want to look like that.
not a channel but I recently got into this band cosmic collective that does some jazz and lofi stuff and they're real people and they live near me and I see them live and it's dope
you may not have an account but your friends and family might and if you have similar interests they may vouch for products that were pitched to them via AI.. so in that way, they're still reaching you
everyone is looking at it wrong expecting these social media companies to show this as engagement.

The purpose of the AI profiles is targeted advertising. It probably isn't going to work on you but it does work on many demographics. It's the same concept as any other advertisement. They all set the scene of the specific type of person they want to buy their product, whether it's a TV commercial, a radio ad, a magazine page.
The only real difference here is that it's not a real person but when it comes to advertising, will that really matter? That is, will the drop in sales be negligible compared to the massive drop in cost of advertising?
you could argue that men have similar exclusive, lucrative paths that use their strength/athleticism and are also probably statistically similar rates of exclusivity within their sex. Like, not everyone will be a professional footballer just like not every onlyfans model makes livable income.

Balatro does have a lot going on graphically and even my pixel 8 pro starts to heat up when playing it. The game's art style may be pixel art, but there are a lot of shaders on all the cards and the cards themselves are either 3d or have some perspective stuff going on to make them able to rotate away from the camera
also, there's the giant shifting background which is another complex shader that can't be turned off.
I think the game has been optimized since release a bit, but still, it's not just simple card images.
