We shall setup an ICE luge in his honor.

Seriously. The man has been campaiging in new york everyday for a year, talking to tens of thousands of people.

Yall just need basic people skills to charm a narcissist. Just compliment their insecurities, agree enthusiasticlly with their bullshit, let them talk, smile and nod. If possible, never ever talk to them again.

Isnt the legal standard in "destruction of evidence" cases to assume the plantiffs claims are 100% true?

Seems like a very stupid plan from ICE.

The article says it was required:

But they never reported Massie’s crimes to police, as required by the law. Instead, Bruckelmyer and other leaders in the church encouraged the victims to take part in forgiveness sessions — which allowed Massie, now 50, to continue abusing children, according to an investigation by the Minnesota Star Tribune and ProPublica.

Later down:

He said it was up to the victims to report the crimes to police, a clear misreading of the law for mandated reporters — doctors, teachers and others who are required to report crimes against children.

“We don’t protect either one,” Bruckelmyer said of sexual abusers and their victims.

This is the churches defense:

Kimberly Lowe, a lawyer and crisis manager for the church, said its preachers are unpaid and therefore might not be legally required to report sexual abuse of children. Asked if she believes the preachers are mandated reporters under Minnesota law, Lowe would only say that the language of the statute is unclear.

Propublica does pretty deep research, so I'm inclined to believe them.

Morality clauses arent contingent on the same "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard that criminal cases require.

Its very possible the judge/jury thought Spacey was a creepy rapist, but didnt think the proof quite hit the high bar to convict.

That one was on purpose:

In the book, just like in the movie, Spearchucker reveals that the nickname "Spearchucker", ordinarily a racial slur, referred in this case to his javelin-throwing prowess.

They use the racism behind his nickname to address racism:

The film also depicts Spearchucker as a particularly skilled neurosurgeon and this, together with the experience of playing football together, helps Duke Forrest overcome his racial prejudices and the two become friends at the end, shaking hands when it is time for Duke to go back stateside.

Other red states have alreaddy gerrymanded several seats, so it should kick in anyway. It has a built in reset in 2028, so it already has enough contingency in it to undue its ugly neccesity.

Worth waiting for reviews. The last DLC was a clown show for months.

They dont have that much time:

The case will likely be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, but time is short: Candidates only have until Dec. 8 to file for the upcoming election.

Id expect the shadow docket will do its shadow tricks and halt the halt, but its not cut and dry.

Its your hypothectical man. I've told you the community will need to come to a consensus on how they handle violence. Thats the only answer I can give if you wont give me the details above.

Id be glad to. Just tell me the name of everyone in the society, their general roles in different social situations, their agreed on laws and rules, and their specific stance on violence and how they want to respond to it.

Once you do, I can answer your very specific questions about a hypothetical community that doesnt currently exist and hasent been defined by any of the people in it.

Sure. You try to head off the behavior before it gets there by ensuring basic needs are met for all and through social tools like shunning and group dynamics.

Your scenario springs up whole clothe without the above, so I would offer the following for it : Jail, exile, death. The order depends on the people involved in the society they created.

Being an anarchist doesn't mean you lack the current tools we use, it means you dont have to use them, or at least you dont have to reach for them first.
