There doesn't need to be any difference. Make fighting in the drone army into a videogame. People will pay good money to be soldiers.

Im presently doing all my printing via craftcloud. It seems too expensive and fiddly to do it myself. But I've got this room where, if I get a printer, I'll put it.

So if I do it like a humidor. Controlled environment and ventilation. Is this the normal thing to do?

Ya maybe. But the ubiquity of alcohol suggests that the specific substance bears too.

Asking you to be specific and clear is asking too much of you, it seems.

I'm pointing out an incongruity between popular opinion and objective fact.

There's a certain inherent nastiness to alcohol. A definite taint that shouts "I am poison" or "this stuff is good for cleaning engine parts".

Opium, not so much. More of a warm floral hug.

Cool. What's your favorite technique?

That sounds hardcore. I am not familiar with nembutsu but I do a bit of zazen.

I used to do a lot of zazen. I mean the whole thing, the anapanasati and the shikantaza. It made me a little too weird for polite society.

I think that I addressed your "concentration meditation is focusing harder" and "I'm experienced" (to paraphrase) comments pretty dead on actually.

Your "people take meds for a reason"....ya, I skipped it as nebulous.

So don't give me that silly guff.

But seriously, do you meditate?

"Focusing harder" doesn't cover it. Better to see for yourself.

It's weird. The simple fact of being watched and told what you can say. And the possibility that what you're saying is being edited and what you're hearing is edited too.

This strikes me as abhorrent. But most of the people here call it necessary, preferable and even desirable.

Yes, I know, trolls etc. But such action turns any conversation into a bad joke. And anybody who trusts a moderator is a fool.

Find a better way.

Divide and conquer.

So many people here are ready to fight at the slightest dissent. So ready to censor and ban.

It's unnatural.

And stuff related to that. When you pay attention, focus... get so concentrated on something that you get sucked in...

What is that like? Can you describe it?

And in the opposite direction. What is it like to be distracted?

8 years ago the spring weather was different. It drizzled almost every day. It was cloudy. Now we have these clear sunny days, big winds and scant rain.

I can't resist bright orange plastic.
