The morning star is more of a title. The angel Lucifer was the morning star, but Christ claimed (or will claim) the title as his own in the sense that he preceds the return of God's light. There is a reoccurring motif, especially in Revelation that Jesus exists to put right what Satan put wrong.

Such that in time, the employed would envy the fired.
I'm willing to allow that someone could have a change of heart after acquiring wealth, or can control of such wealth through inheritance.
I don't really care how such a realignment of thinking is achieved though. Be it force, visitation by three spirits, whatever. I guess my point is that as they have the capability to change but don't, which should inform our actions.
One, eventually.
The thing about billionaires it that they could just stop. It's not a skin colour, it's not an ethnicity or even a religion.
If they wanted to they could redistribute the wealth. They could use their power to close the political doors they exploit.
Wouldn't even have to check themselves out, wouldn't even have to adopt some monastic lifestyle. But they would rather live in a world where they have lifetimes of obscene luxury at the expense of others. At a certain point you have to ask if causing suffering is part of their fun.
Is it a twist? It seems it's only shocking if you think the bible is a good guide to morality or you judge people by their words not their actions.
Remember when we were all laughing at George W Bush and the dumb shit he said? At least the fuck was concise rather than this embarrassment going on about how he used to tie an onion to his belt to scare off Mexicans or whatever he said.
You maybe not, your family? All your friends/coworkers/etc? Talk about scams with people, lots of people use PCs without knowing what is and isn't safe.
It's entirely possible that Bigfoot can walk like other people but whenever they notice someone filming them they try to act natural and it all goes to shit.
This always strikes me as trying to avoid cannibals by wearing barbeque sauce cologne.
Oh, hides as in 'secretly places them' rather than 'removes'.
There is generally a battery that powers the clock and keeps it running even when there is no external power to the system normally one of the larger coin shaped ones. It's non-rechargable as it lasts for a long time. It's being constantly drained but it's only the smallest trickle.
If you can get to the internals you should be able to find and replace it, it's pretty obvious when you know to look for it. While you are in there you can check for corrosion/damage to the traces and components, give things a dust. The biggest issue is probably going to be an old battery, 20 years ago they were rather primative and though generally more replaceable than modern builds, getting a replacement might be harder.
