I see very old people on my bus all the time. They love it because they have a captive audience to talk to

Debian I think it was

I saw one in China almost a decade ago. QR code in at the door and grab whatever you need, your account gets charged with whatever you take. Wasn't very big, maybe 4m X 4m. Had cold drinks and snacks. Was more a gimmick for me than something I would search out to actively use.

I meant cartons. We locally call them slabs

That's a bargain

Mate me too, I only buy cartoons (24packs) of the cheap stuff. Smithys was on sale yesterday for $50 so that's the poison this week.

Don't know about that. I know that when I have a steak I'll usually have a few beers and they make their money back. The steak is just a loss leader.

$14 six pack is a bargain here. Most 4 packs are $25 in Australia. Steak night at the pub is strange as your beer costs more than your steak.

That's brilliant. The age of empires tune is as tacky as I remembered

That's been around for porn for a long time too; r/tipofmypenis and findapornstar if your feeling that way inclined.

Makes sense though. There was trouble with people throwing hazardous waste into the green waste bins and then kids getting exposed to the material. Fuck those people.

Went to watch the steam Train go over the old trestle bridge this morning and as expected there were a few people about. What wasn't expected was to have people sneer and yell about being in their shot. This is a public park not just yours.

Walking around a period time tourist site and everyone was smiling and happy. Very stark contrast to all the idiots beeping and cutting in in the carpark.

We would all be happier with no cars on main St.

Was looking on the Telstra page teaching customers about the benefits of 5G and found this gem.

"Train operator SNCF's chief executive, Jean-Pierre Farandou, said the attackers had started fires in "conduits carrying multiple (fibre-optic) cables" that carried "safety information for drivers" or control the motors for points."

Seems this attack is becoming more common place. Used to just be the occasional tractor or digger damaging fibre but now it's seems to be intentional.

Why must I agree to be terms and conditions to play a game I bought 10 years ago? I just wanted to play some Civ. 2k games are the prime example of what is wrong with the world of gaming.
