My wife loves the chorizo from Trader Joe's. Something about it destroys my stomach but she would take it over beyond/impossible ground anyday.

My son is 3 and goes over to the pear trees where we buried 2 pets in the past 2 years.

Our cat Bruce and our bearded dragon CJ.

He still feels a need to take care of them. He was "in charge" of feeding the lizards so every one in a while he grabs lettuce from the fridge and tries to take it outside for her. While he's over there he says stuff like "pspsps Bruce wanna play with me" and it fucking obliterates me every time.

Bruce was his best friend, he would do his bed time routine with us everynight and loved my son so much. I'm suprised he even remembers him since he was so young but their immediate bond was really special.

I don't think think I'll ever "retire" in the traditional sense.

My thought was to always have a severe mental breakdown around 50 and run off to the woods to build a log cabin and grow my own food. My wife knows of this plan but I'm pretty sure she thinks it's a joke. It's not.

I'm on papers for some stuff I did about 10 years back. I have another 3 to go.

I absolutely would. I've always wanted to at the very least so exploring and never imagined staying here, but my wife wouldn't even leave the state since all her family lives here. So that dream is pretty much dead.

Plus I imagine getting accepted anywhere would be pretty challenging with a criminal record.

Huh I wonder how many Fair Trade items I bought thinking they were Fairtrade. Thanks.

Thanks for this. I needed that little bit of a bright side.

People genuinely don't understand this and it's scary.

I feel like I'm going crazy explaining what a tariff is to people over and over who have never heard the word before but are praising it as a way to make everything cheaper and boost our economy

I fucking love Cauliflower, I thought I didn't like it because I grew up poor and didn't really get fancy veggies

My toddler and I have been bringing a trash bag to the park and cleaning the place up. It's always a mess and it makes me sad to see because it's my sons favorite park.

I'm not even allowed to leave the state for another few years

I'm in the process of converting my garage to my home office and want to set up solar to run my laptop, a couple monitors, lights, phone charging and I'm sure a few other small things.

I'm looking at this power station EcoFlow DELTA Portable Power Station 1300 and getting 4 of these panels Topsolar Flexible Solar Panel 100W 24V/12V to run parallel.

It seems like this setup would work, but I'm just curious what people who know more think about this setup and if there's a better way.

I do like the portable power station so if the power goes out I can bring it in the main house as well as being able to plug it into an outlet for those cloudy days and I like the flexible lightweight panels as I'll be installing these myself.

Did they send in actual coupons? Or is coupons some lingo that I'm out of the loop on? What instructions? Buy one bag of chips and get one 50%?

I have so many questions.

Wait is that normal? The last 3 jobs I've had had a waiting period of at least a month.

How bad is this crack? I just noticed it today but I assume it's been there a while and happened after an earth earthquake we had a few months ago.

Is this something I can just fill in with mortar and keep an eye on?

I plan on reaching out to our insurance company to see if they'll pay for it but if not we're pretty strapped for cash at the moment.

Terrible picture but it's the best i could get.

In the US south jersey.

They're tiny, dark with some spots and seem to like hanging out in windowsills.

They super squishy when squeezed and slow, they started appearing inside when the weather was getting warm a few weeks ago.

My wife and I had a miscarriage last week. We were 11 weeks along but our baby only grew to 8 weeks.

It's been devastating.

I'm hoping to get some advice from anyone who's been through it.

  • what can I do to help my wife? She's in physical pain which seems to be overriding the emotional pain, but I'm sure it will hit in due time and want to be able to help her the best that I can.

  • our 15 month old obviously doesn't know what's going on, but it seems like he's noticed a change of energy. Its hard to play with him like I normally do. I love him to bits, I just don't have the energy but I need to make sure he knows he's loved.

  • we were able to collect the fetus as it passed naturally , we would like to do something to memorialize our unborn child but don't know what.

  • how can I take care of myself while taking care of my family through these times.

Thanks for any advice.
