Thanks for the reply. It seems systemd-ui does not exist in the repos. I also checked some GUI programs and found Zeit, though doesn't seem actively developed. However couldn't install that either because distro maintainers removed adding third-party repos (this is a government distro on a school PC). Currently thinking about guide them for setting cronjobs. It's on terminal but it's not that hard as they may think. If the distro had KDE, they would have kcron at least. It doesn't on the repo either anyway.

They all turned into Leech King years ago.
Just so let you know, if someone operates an ISP their staff is tech-savvy. Even if they are not, they still know what you download. They have logs and they are bound by law if some government agency wants your data. They will provide it.
But at least you've seen it.
That propane tank really adds to the scene.
Too wild. :)
Sadly nope. Also the game probably can run on Intel HD Graphics anyways, it's quite old.
That's okay though. Sometimes I do the same and don't even notice it already exists.
Is you is or is you ain't my baby?
Tried steam-native but sadly didn't fix the issue. Apparently it does indeed fix some problems for some games. Maybe I can use LD_PRELOAD to pull some system files before running the game via a launch option but no idea where to start or if it would work at all. I could also try flatpak Steam but whenever I tried that I had worse experiences.

The system has a root account but they don't allow you to use it. However there is an admin account with more privileges.
Though it seems editing crontab will work for them, since it will be a one time thing unless they reinstall the system.
It's based on Debian, but has its own repos only.
