I think it‘s real, saw an interview with the ceo of the company yesterday. Apparently the lift was stolen and then used for the heist. They sort of made the best of it.

Just been there three weeks ago when visiting Norway. It has the names of resistance fighters that were killed by the nazis engraved on the side.
