That's a very rose tinted glasses view of the local impact a federal candidate has, vs the impact of the elected government.

Ignore the word punish. If you don't like lib/nat wreck and sell plans, don't vote national no matter what promise they makes to the electorate - it's highly unlikely they have the ability to hold up their end of the bargain as it'll be a party decision.

Perhaps I am delusional, but I still hope that we are contrary and proud enough of a country to take whatever America can dish out to not be publicly humiliated into submission.

Obviously there are a multiple of less public submissions we've made over the last century, but I still have hope we can turn it around.

The AC my car die, there was no blow. If we drove fast enough we could feel a slight cool breeze.

Hit up YouTube, turns out there is an AC blower fan - makes sense - and the one in my car had probably made it's last rotation.

Found a replacement part for $50 on eBay, followed YouTube vids to replace. Took about 15 min, and a bit of discomfort. Beautiful cool Air on demand again, in time for that 40C day.

Given that super cheap auto quoted me $350 for the manufacturer recommended part, I like to think I saved myself a lot on going to the mechanic. Pretty chuffed with myself, I know nothing about cars; thanks YouTube.

I'm neither a professional programmer nor a user of Ai but...

Do you think your experience, I'm guessing a pre-ai trained programmer, is reflective of post-ai trained programmers?

Will the inevitable reliance on AI in learning and training, will creativity of new programmers drop? Is that even a problem?
