There was one particular parking lot near my house that was not plowed for years. The snow would fall, melt a little during the day, and then refreeze. Spent many evenings there.

Done this before and I'm in the process of doing it right now.

Moved in three months ago and I'm about 95% unpacked. A family member is visiting in six days and I need to complete unpacking and do a good cleaning.

This may be ego, greed, self preservation, or most likely a combination. On the Dem side I'll pick Pelosi and Schumer as examples. Each thinks they are the best for the position, each has become rich, each continues to make deals to keep their position.

The area near the airport has been a lot quieter for at least the last six months. In addition to posting here I drive on Hegenberger or 98th Ave to get to/from work. I haven't seen anything bad in a while and often stop (only in the last few months). My coworker often goes to Hegenberger shops during lunch with no problems.

I'm under no illusion OPD/CHP solved the issue. They just focused a little on the area and also focused on the bipping crews reducing some of the brazen crime. The budget issues will not make things better.
