I used Mint for a long time, I like it and Cinnamon. My laptop at home is running LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition), which is not based directly on Ubuntu like "normal" Linux Mint, and it works great.

I recently set up my desktop with Debian and KDE Plasma and think that will be my standard build moving forward. I have some home servers that are running Ubuntu and I was planning to rebuild with Debian anyways, so a Debian baseline across all my machines makes sense and should be easy to maintain.

Why do libraries define their own true and false? in c/[email protected]

The conventional 'not' would not behave differently for the two non-zero values. Insidious.

Is there no way to set the Theme to "browser default" on the jellyfin web client? in c/[email protected]

I agree. I think it would also be cool to have user-specified Dark and Light selections.

Recommendations for Thermost in c/[email protected]

I have been happy with my Honeywell WiFi thermostat (T6 I think). I have it set up via the HomeKit integration, and block it from the Internet. Was relatively inexpensive and works well.
