still not everything.

There was gigabytes of data being uploaded from the IP address of the >washer. I have segregated this device to its own network and logging data >usage.

I have yet to hear from LG on how to reset/update the firmware or how to >fix the rogue washing machine.

Did you even watch the monologue?

Or did you only read the headline and then hop up on that masturbation spot you call your high horse?

Genuinely one of the most uninformed, naive, social media polisci bullshit takes I've read in a while.

apparently ITT: displaying empathy and emotion = capitulation with, and apologizing to, the state.

It would ultimately be just as empty. Even if Feige came out today and said they were halting all Marvel productions until Kimmel's show was reinstated, he would be fired and we'd all be reading about who's going to be the next boss at marvel.

There are no nations. There are no peoples. There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no third worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars.

We no longer live in a world of nations and ideologies, u/bufalo1973. The world is a college of corporations, inexorably determined by the immutable bylaws of business. The world is a business, u/bufalo1973. It has been since man crawled out of the slime.

Don't get me wrong, I love science too. But also, "only minimal anti-nociceptive effect of THC exposure was confirmed."

aka

"it turns out getting lobsters high doesnt really make them that much more chill about being boiled alive..."

So like, good on them for trying but like, whats the goal here even anyway? To ease our guilt about the whole having to kill something to eat it thing? Is it really that much better if the thing was high and didnt really know it was dying? IDK this has some pretty deep ethical holes to fall into if we're not careful. We should also all definitely be high while we discuss this...
