Didn't know one can contribute without an account. I thought it's something 'bout email address

Some repos like Cromite, Ceno browser does not show any contributors on their main page despite a huge list of even recent contributors found at the insight>contributors graph.

Whereas, I've seen other repos that proudly display their top contributors (Searxng, IronFox etc). Why is this so? Do the owners toggle off a button that should show off the people contributing to the project

Ceno: https://github.com/ceno-app/ceno-android/graphs/contributors?all=1

Cromite: https://github.com/uazo/cromite/graphs/contributors?all=1

What kind of questions can I ask without going too far. I ask around things concerning school and thats where I stop, I usually fear touching something sensitive to them

Didn't know about that rule. I'm still new to lemmy, using a client. Where can I find the rules? Well, I've gotten the answers I need from the gentlemen above

It seems like the forum no longer exists. I've tried searching for it

I've read multiple posts opposing and advocating Irenaeus' view, but I hardly hear of any other historical church father/writer supporting this view. Yes, his arguments are interesting, but what did his contemporaries, and those before him say also? Help a friend 🙏

Got your point but damn.. Didn't except they'd even have a plaque 😄

“The Mafia put out a $500,000 contract on Pistone and kicked the Bonanno family off the Commission. FBI agents visited Mafia bosses in New York and advised them not to murder Pistone. The contract was dropped by Paul Castellano, who headed the Commission, because he thought killing a federal agent would "attract too much attention""

Got this quote directly from Wiki based on Joseph "Donnie Brasco" Pistone. My quesstion is, isn't mafia job a crime? Yet the FBI knew the ones involved (they certainly knew if they visited them) and didn't do anything about it (like arresting them, surely mafias did crimes right?), only going to persuade them from killing Joseph.

You can see Paul Castellano, named cleanly and clearly, yet I dont find any charges against him (at least, for putting a bounty on someone's head). It's as if maybe they had a treaty with the Police at the time.. Or the police had lack of substantial evidence of their activities to prosecute? I'm not an American so I'm still lacking much info on this, please help me out. Thanks!
