True, I do also think he does well in the face of things like that. You're right, it may actually turn out in his favour if he can take them in his stride, which is a very welcome change. I feel like the only other public figure on the UK left I've seen do really well with that is Mick Lynch

Genuinely curious and not being confrontational, is there a grift to really be had with being the Green leader? Especially with the way he's taking it. I'd imagine if he was on a grift, even within the Greens, he'd be better off being in the middle class NIMBY faction where Ramsay is and so on. But I'm open to hearing reasons I may be wrong in thinking that

And yeah it is a red flag but it was over 10 years ago now and in an article published by the Sun, who we all know don't half sensationalise or just outright lie in their articles. Not saying it didn't happen but I wouldn't believe everything in it 100% at the least. People absolutely can change, just about everyone has done things they really aren't proud of. I'll still be looking out for more red flags though, of course. I don't trust any political leader completely, especially with how bad power almost always is for the human psyche

And I'm sure the interview won't have any loaded questions that scream anti-Green bias at all

Great answer. Thankfully there's at least one large party leader here that follows actual science and reason

I've got Mint as my main OS for everything except Windows, which I use solely for gaming. Would you say it's worth just replacing windows with Bazzite? I pirate some games and only a portion of my games are on Steam, so I always thought it might not be the best idea to leave windows behind altogether. Also I'm basically a novice with command lines and such (hence why I'm using Mint)

Hmm didn't know this about Disturbed. Yet another reason to find them cringe. A great one is that terrible weed song they did. For those who might be curious and want a good laugh, enjoy

I love weed but it sounds like something written by a teenager after they've had their first three joints in their life

Pretty sure most people do this to some extent. But I think we do it more so than most, from what I can tell. Either way, why not repeat some good shit that we vibe to? Life's too short not to often listen to the same stuff over and over

Was listening to that album earlier today for the first time after having it on my incredibly long list of music I haven't listened to yet that grows far quicker than I can get through it. Banger track amongst many others

This is fucking awful. Such a terrible, out of nowhere death

Have to say aswell, after reading the article, how stupid is his boss who gave him it? He was involved in the whole meth operation with these cans and decided to give away the excess ones that he thought only had beer in them. Why not just throw them away? Such an idiotic risk for no good reason. Was he high on the supply or something? Only thing I can think to explain why he'd do something as utterly careless as this. And now he's in prison for 20 years because of it

I'm from the countryside in north of England and have lived in London at points for many years of my life. London is generally the worst for proper British food, in my experience. The best fry ups, fish and chips and all that you're gunna get is in small towns or villages where the place itself is bare bones and no frills. Far cheaper too

That said, I'll of course take most other cuisine over our own. I do like foods that require a good amount of seasoning and some actual spice. Our cuisine is really helped by those too as I see it. But most people here seem to draw the line at black pepper, sadly

I go to Aldis, which never have music playing in any of them. People are definitely not more quiet. I envy you
