I thought the post was about neopronouns in general. Didn't know the drag example was the main concern and thought it was just an exaggerated example.

A lot of people say the same things about trans folks in terms of gay rights. Some people might be fucking around, but drawing a line in the sand like that is going to inevitably invalidate people with legitimate identities. And if you really don't want to use them, it's super easy to just ignore. Idk if I've ever even had to refer to someone with third person pronouns on Lemmy.

True. Or just discard their attempts to taint the language. Like how some slurs have been reclaimed.

Interesting. Feels like there's a bit of a paradox, where we need a term to address a group of people who are being "othered," but while that's the case, there will be people who use that term as an insult.

Yeah probably the biggest strength of gnome. Often feels better suited for tablets than windows is.

Kdenlive has a visualizer effect you can use https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/effects_and_filters/video_effects/on_master/audio_spectrum_filter.html

It's not crazy but it works well enough for something simple.

I use it in a similar way keep track of homework, linking to the assignment since I have almost no assignments that aren't online.

You probably already know but just in case, xournal++ is a good alternative I've been using. Not quite as feature rich but does all the basics. Linux on a windows tablet is a surprisingly usable experience, if a little janky.

Sorry if this is asked a lot but I'm looking for a peertube instance to mirror my youtube videos to.

I upload a mix of videos about games, dev logs, music, and occasional random stuff I made (including ytps). So a general purpose instance with longevity would be ideal. Thanks!
