Before this I was like "I'm not playing a single Nintendo exclusive game" because of the emulator situations Now I need to ask what's the state of switch emulators? I still hate Nintendo but I don't want to miss out on this

Those are all awesome but for playing Pokémon specifically I had some fun playing ROM hacks as really good ones exist. Currently waiting for a good NDS hack as gen 4 games have been decompiled and progress is being made twords feature rich NDS hacks like we already have for GBA

In Iran we always pirate games (except PlayStation games) because US sanctions has banned trades with Iran. Back when I was a kid instead of buying CDs with one game I bought packages which had 100 smaller games and I didn't buy often because I couldn't buy games on my own. There are some famous ones among these 600 games (I bought 6 CDs over the years) like peggle, plants vs zombies, chicken invaders, and some others. Despite having fun with many more games, these are the ones I remember the most. Despite not getting a lot of chances to play computer games with others these games where the most fun to play with others

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm now using Kanata which is inspired by Kmonad and it's working well so far. Despite the cool things that come with external keyboards split or not, I don't want to be uncomfortable with my built in keyboard when my laptop is on my legs or I just don't have access to a table in general
