Back in my day our parents just gave us cash to buy anything we wanted anywhere.

They should put tariffs on Mexican meth to protect local meth making jobs.

Yeah, I don't really have any reason to doubt there's such a thing, but all we see is a blurry picture of some buildings there.

Also, who the hell posts stuff like this on LinkedIn of all places?

They're script kiddies, they use CVE to figure out which hacking scripts to use to break into servers that haven't been updated in years.

I refuse to patronise the ICE facilities just because I've been shitposting about Trump.

Very salty shit.

None of the criminals in the Bush years went to prison despite torture and war crimes, nobody from the previous Trump admin went to prison despite an attempted coup and naked corruption.

As long as Democrats refuse to choose an AG that will actually do something about their criminality, there's no incentive for any of them to stop it the GOP itself to clean house.

They took over existing publications as well. Still, I'm all for reigning in the social media networks, because they're basically editorialising through their moderation (like that time Musk decided to boost his own posts so much he ended up on everyone's 'for you' page).

If your moderation is basically taking on the role of an editor, you should be held responsible for any libellous content/ hate speech you boost in this fashion.

Way too early in the season to tell, IMHO. Norris had one 'bad' weekend, and he still ended up on the podium. They're closely matched, so it'll probably come down to who manages to be most consistent.

Point is, they're big, impossible to hide from anyone that has satellites, and you just need to get a lucky hit with a relatively cheap missile/torpedo to give the other side a multi-billion dollar loss in one go.

I mean, carriers in this modern age probably are mostly sitting ducks against any modern adversary. They could barely take on Yemen.

If your adversary has satellites that can tell them where you are and a sufficient amount of missiles / torpedoes, there's only so much you can do.
