They have themselves convinced that they did it on their own. Dad was a lawyer, paid for his son to be a lawyer, hired his son as his law firm. And it happens all the time in every industry. I'm fine with families setting up their children in the family business, it has always been done. The issue I have is that when everyone else comes up with ways to reduce the discrepancy, those same people cry and call it unfair and do everything they can to hold others back. It's really sickening and that type of culture is worse than ever now that a ghoul has been installed to the White House that espouses rhetoric that denigrates the poor.

Delta knows their audience. Many pilots lean Republican and see themselves as rugged individualists that have made their own path. Meanwhile, the only reason they're flying in many cases are socially funded training programs. Many from the military.

Americans need to suffer more. Especially the working class. They can only blame immigrants for so long.

Well they do that because democratic socialism focuses on well-being of the populace rather than well being of the few but admittedly they are fairly toothless as their policies revolve around tax collection rather than the required restructuring of industry that would comprise a socialist system.. a democratic socialist can only really affect policy through tax code.

I'm so tired of these takes. Trump won. I could care less if the next one is a slightly left of center corporate Democrat. The GOP has to be avoided at all costs.

I don't think it's the singular issue but there are many, many people, male and female, that will not even consider a female candidate for president. With the social regression of MAGA, my concern is that the Overton window is moving too far to the right. I will happily vote for a female. I worry the populace won't. Hillary won the popular vote and lost in the electoral college thanks to swing districts going to Trump.
