Top left. I'm not a fan of the color (I like the color of the bottom right.). But I like my pants waistline up higher, fitted through the thigh, and a bit of flare at the bottom.

I have a gut and broad shoulders so boot/flare helps balance out my larger top half.

Still, so much potential.

In the United States, it is very hard to buy a car directly from a manufacturer. Due to law in several states, if you're getting a new car, you need to buy from a dealership, who gets a cut of the sale. Dealerships, of course, would have plenty of incentive to keep these laws in place.

Tesla has been fighting this for years. When I first heard of Tesla trying this, I loved it. I hoped it would open the floodgates for buying any new vehicle outside of a dealership. I really like any idea where law-mandated leeches are cut out.

With all of his money, he could have started out making non-proprietary EV chargers. (I know they walked this back, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth.) Invested in charging infrastructure that could benefit any compatible EV vehicle. Worked on moving public transportation to be EV mass transit. Invested in trains (which can be powered by electricity!) He could have put parking garages with EV chargers beside those train stations.

Instead we have hyperloop, poorly constructed vehicles, and... The current political situation.

Potential, wasted.

I was raised Roman Catholic and I was taught about the schism.

However, it was framed as the Eastern Orthodox Catholics broke off from mainstream Catholicism, therefore Roman Catholics were the "original Catholics."

It does kind of tickle me how much the folks that taught me that, value tradition so highly that they try to rationalize this kind of thing until they once are "traditional."
