I upgraded to a 5700X3D for €200 two years ago and I'm very happy with my decision to upgrade my ageing AM4 desktop. I know that the difference is marginal to the 5800X3D, but I am seriously considering buying one, if the price is reasonable, just to keep my current computer alive just a little bit longer.

I audibly gasped when the trailer announced it will come out on the Switch 1. Got it on day one

There are companies that offer RaaS, basically radar rentals.

Source: my company had a customer who rented a weather radar for a year to do a study on weather patterns in South America

growing up in a 3rd world country, it has always been, specially when considering the language barrier since games were not translated into my language back in the day

Early 40s here. I never understood my generation's obsession with "growing up", I remember as a teenager, a lot of my highschool classmates would pretend to be older than they actually were and dismissed some hobbies and activities as "for kids".

When I was in university, there's was this massive start of the year party for all students, as a first year student of course I attended and had the time of my life. Next year came by and asked some classmates to go with me and I got a response that I still remember to this day "you're almost 20, aren't you a bit old to be attending college parties?" like dude read the room, we're college students, the party was organised for us.

Now that we're here, all grown up and middle age, what do we do now? I know I'll be having fun tonight

First of all I don't live in a neighbourhood with something equivalent of a HOA, but we do have an organisational unit that involves the group of 6 homes where I live in.

We had a meeting regarding the repair of a shared drain pipe following an inspection we had earlier this year, the camera inspection had a cost of €120 that was equally divided among 6 households, so €20 each, nice and easy.

After getting the quote for the repairs, one of our neighbours asked chatgpt to split the bill, €1500 divided by 6.

edit: paraphrasing, he proudly said "I asked chatgpt and 1500/6 is 250”

Do you really need to ask an LLM to divide two numbers? something the cheapest calculator can do instantly, or better yet, something you can easily do I your head?
