"Firefish" ist NOT a sole instance, it's a software which is running on different servers (see the list). Even if the instance firefish.social is no longer running, the software Firefish is still being developed and continues to run on many servers and therefore Firefish is not dead.

Nein, man darf Informationen nicht so "vereinfachen", dass sie dann am Ende falsch sind. Cell Broadcasting ist eben nicht SMS. CB ist Einweg-Kommunikation, SMS ist was anderes. Und klar muss eine Infrastruktur aufgebaut werden, damit die vorhandenen Warnmeldungen der Alarmzentrale (füttert ja schon die Warn-App) richtig auf die Zellen verteilt werden. Aber 4 Jahre Entwicklung für 58 Millionen. Ich weiss nicht.
