Nice post OP, a few of mine off the top of my head;

  • Half-Life (+expansions + Black Mesa)

  • Bioshock

  • Deus Ex

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops (World at War was great too + ZOMBIES!)

  • Morrowind / Oblivion / Skyrim

  • Fallout: New Vegas (+DLC)

  • System Shock 2

I played a few of the MoH (I can't recall which) but never owned them.

Do you mind if I ask how many hours you've put into TF2? I hope you enjoy the beta.

5,000 Steam awards on the "review" too.

It's bleeding-edge, so bugs and regressions are going to be there first.

Case in point: there is a bug/issue with the Nvidia drivers now (555) that messes up hibernation/suspend and cause a kernel panic for some.

Saving this comment. It's a fantastic observation you've made, you convinced me.

It holds a very special place in my heart.

I remember playing Half Life at my Grandparents house, my grandfather or Dad stuck me on Half Life (they had a PC) and I loved it.

I was only able to get past the first few zombies (by fleeing) before having to give up from being too scared lol. While I had played other games / consoles, Half Life was the first game I played that blew my mind and gave me a "wow" factor.

I think other than the original I think Opposing Force is my favourite of the expansions.

Thanks for the post; I'm due for a replay 😁
