That's bullshit, there's always room for interpretation of any law. Especially when laws start overlapping and someone has to decide which law takes precedence.

The real failure of the US political system is that voters that were stupid enough to believe that uncompromising is the same as strength. Once bipartisanship collapsed, the only way to get anything done was through the courts because as soon as any law passed someone somewhere sued to stop it. The courts became political because all laws passed through them.

This happened because Republicans realized their actual policies are unpopular and don't work, so they have specifically been stacking courts with conservative judges for decades so an unelected cabal of rich assholes get to decide all the laws in the country.

EV motors can add energy in either direction of rotation, or remove energy from the existing rotation.

Regenerative braking is removing energy, and yes you must be moving for it to "regenerate" energy. You are correct that it can't hold you in place without adding energy, you'd roll forward very slowly.

However if you look up how these motors work, the same magnets that are timed to make the motor run can be used to lock the motor in place by adjusting which electromagnets are powered. So the onboard computer detects when motion is slow enough for regenerative to stop working and switches over to magnetic locking, which does burn a bit of energy.

Unless you have allergies and can't eat dairy or beans. Really cuts out all the good protein sources.

By the numbers I think it's an ocean planet with 71% coverage. Of the land, it's actually pretty evenly split 1/3 forest, 1/3 desert, 1/3 grass or shrubland.

Given what we know of the Earth's own history, forest planets, ice planets, and desert planets are all possible and the Earth has been each in different geologic times. Although in every case there will be pockets of other biomes that are very large on a human scale. A single France-sized forest would be massive to a human explorer, even if the rest of the planet is ocean and ice.

You misunderstand. He's not panicking because he cares about any of them. He knows it makes him look bad, makes the military look inept and poorly run that he's commander in chief over, and he has no one left to blame. He hand picked everyone running this shit show. He's looking for an out, for himself, and is panicking because he can't see one.

  1. Yes. Guess which color skin they want the 100M to be.
  2. Yes. Again, guess which colors the skin of the people they worry are having too few/to many children.

I mean... "Small government" Republicans were always demonstrably lying, as far back as any of them have been alive. Every one of them just wanted to shift money from things that support people to the pockets of their donors.

Yeah it's unclear how much fantasy was allowed with these questions. Like if commute and money and pollution were no object I'd prefer to live on 1000 acres in the mountains with a cabin-mansion and hobby farm.

But realistically for cost and commute I just want a big yard for gardening, and peace and quiet.

Nope, your "nothing matters everyone is the same" bullshit is wrong. There are different levels of harm and the far right is objectively more harmful to more people.

There is a plan... It's all laid out in Project 2025. The endgame is a christofascist USA ruled by a hereditary nobility of the billionaires.

Those aren't LLMs. Except maybe the code one.
