He realised on one corner that there were two Southampton defenders in him. So he moved away from the goal and the two defenders followed him out of the 6 yard box to the edge of the penalty box freeing up so much space. That level of intelligence can only helps us

I was at the game today. We really needed that Southampton goal to wake us up. We looked so good in first half but didn’t looked clinical enough in front of goal. Southampton defended corners strangely, their player had their back to the corner focusing on our players. Calafiori is an immense player, he was man of the match by a long way. I love Saka but he seems to pick up that award by default now.
