I agree with you on that one, but since we do not have official support we will have to get by with the hard work of the community.

Was the logitech mouse not supported by libratbag (backend of Piper)?

Well it is both funny and depressing to follow someones descent into madness.

I will try in the Linux community. I was planning to look at the drives suggested and look up compatability afterwards and if someone knew one that worked that would have just been a bonus.

Yes, sorry English is not my first language so sometimes I make mistakes.

As for the Linux thing it was more that sometimes hardware just doesn't work with it, that is why I mentioned it. I was more looking for a recomendation on a dvd or blu-ray (with cd capability for ps1 games) drive that people had good experience with.

Sorry I thought you would have a recommendation for a decent external disk drive do I could back up and run my ps2 games through emulation.

Hi, As stated in the title I need some help backing up files, specifically my PS1, PS2 and maybe PS3 games. Which external disk drive that works with Linux would be recommended for this endevour? Thank you for your time.

Personally, I think you are probably stuck with Windows for now, since I imagine you really don't want to learn a whole slew of new programs (that might or might not do everything you want) in my very uninformed opinion.

Internet connectivity should be mostly fine but that can depend on hardware sometimes.

Gaming is in general not a problem if you have Steam, Heroic, Lutris, Bottles and Protonup QT. But look into ProtonDB to see which runs and which doesn't.

But for much of the professional software it will become a hassle. You could look into CrossOver by Codeweavers (a paid version of Wine) and see what compatability that brings. But for the most part I think you would probably have to setup a Windows Virtual Machine with GPU Passthrough.

Triban RC100 has these no name Dual Pivot (if got the terminology right).

I might have found an easier and cheaper option. On this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycling/comments/1266tr6/triban_rc100_sora_drivetrain_upgrade/?tl=fr They install a a Shimano Sora groupe with a 9 speed cassette on the stock rims, so I wondered if a Advent 1x9 or 1x10 would work.

You kind of beat me to the punch but I saw this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycling/comments/1266tr6/triban_rc100_sora_drivetrain_upgrade/?tl=fr

And wondered if the stock rim could accomodate the advent 1x9 or 1x10?

What do you think?

Would make finding e erything a lot easier.

Do you think the levers would work with my rim brakes? I heard it could make the brakes dangerous if the levers are not correct.

Edit: I want to thank eveyone for their generous help. I ended up getting the Advent X groupset and got it installed. Although I still have some tweaking left.

I have a Triban RC100 and am looking to convert it to 11 speed. Seeing as I had a budget, I found Sensah Srx Pro and Shimano Rs100 wheels. That was when I got stuck.

I am looking to have some lower gears that would work offroad so what cassette would be compatible?

Thank you for your help.

I have a Triban RC100 that I wish to convert to 11 speed.

I got as far as choosing the Sensah Srx Pro and the Shimano RS100 wheels. But got stuck after that.

Which cassette would be compatible with both and what chain length would I need? I am looking for something that gives me some offroad climbing gears.

Thank you for your help.

I am pretty sure I pissed of some eldritch deity because I have been chasing this laggy feeling I had with my pc for 2 months.

But in the past few days my desktop was getting very slow during installationand general use. At the same time my HDD activity indicator would be on all the time. Turning off the pc would shut it down and a few seconds later restart.

So I switched out Fedora for Pop OS and everything went fine for half a day and the problemen came back again.

When turning off the pc, right now, I got what you see in the picture.

So I would like to ask do I need to hire an exorcist or is hardware borked in someway?

Any help would be greatly appreciatie, so I would like to thank anyone even willing to look at my post.

EDIT: Well for anyone still interested, apparently it was something in the 6.5 series kernals that made my pc behave weird because with 6.6 kernal all of the problems vanished. I want to thank everyone again for all the suggestion and help diagnosing my problem.
