This is what we do ever since the dispenser door stopped opening properly. Made no difference at all.

There’s one a few miles from my house and I thought the same until this thread.

Don’t you dare give me hope

You’re getting downvoted for telling a truth no one wants to hear. But magnetic interference is why Valve abandoned Hall effect for steam deck after a bunch of field tests. You can mod other handheld PCs like ROG Ally and people who do report the same thing. Hall effect is great for standalone controllers but totally incompatible with handhelds.

But implying that Nintendo cheaped out again regarding its most infamous complaint about the last console is a much better way to get clicks on your site. There’s a million other things worth raking Nintendo over the coals for, but skipping on hall effect ain’t it.

The joycon connection isn’t the only use of magnets I believe. The steam deck has a bunch of magnets too and it’s the reason Valve didn’t include Hall effect sticks in that device. They did a bunch of field tests and found that they created more problems than they solved. Folks who’ve modded their ROG Ally with HES reported similar issues. It just seems like with the current tech they’re just not compatible with handheld consoles.

Yeah the way this was written is so off-putting. I generally agree with the sentiment and found the main points interesting but god what a repulsive writing style. I get that modern written articles are more casual and blog-like these days but damn, how did even the editors think this was ok?

TIL Homeland went for 8 seasons

I don’t think that would surprise anyone. The GOP has been a giant grift since at least Reagan. A loooot of people out there can’t tell when they’re getting scammed.

It’s one reason why educated voters tend to be further left on the political spectrum.

Absolutely. Definitely not recommending chancing something like that haha. Just saying you might never change your mind and that’s ok. But also if a kid came into your life somehow, don’t panic! It might be ok
