We used to shun stupidity. Social media and the internet has emboldened stupid people to support other stupid people spouting stupidity. Used to be if no one would listen to you in person, you'd just have to keep your dumb thoughts to yourself.

I wouldn't put it past Trump to make a deal with Putin so that he gets Greenland and can mine the fuck out of it's untapped mineral resources.

If this is really your issue, then you're focusing on the wrong people.
Clearly something has to be done when a certain percentage are falling into arrears, but making them homeless is not the right tactic. Thinking they are all just withholding rent while having the ability to pay is a big assumption, and is almost certainly incorrect. There needs to be some discretion exercised and probably taken on a case by case basis. I have no doubt there are some taking the piss, but just painting all of them with the same brush seems wrong to me.
Musk has always been a welfare queen. Always reliant on government subsidies and tariffs to protect his companies. Now he's been handed the keys to the castle to stop any regulatory body from investigating them when they break the law.
His companies and products need to be shunned by the general public. Until the point that even employees would be ashamed to admit they work for one of his companies.

Seymour is such a prick. Some of us do want transparency in politics so we can see who your sponsors are jackass.
Reading more into it, it definitely seems like he was throwing money around and courting ministers before he applied.

Basically his application was backed by a bunch of other rich NZ'ers who he invested in, and obviously his net worth and connections played a part. Department of Internal Affairs officials recommended his application be approved to the Internal Affairs Minister. Just the typical rich people things.
I hate so much that Thiel managed to get citizenship here.
