yes! reusing and thus preserving equipment is really cool and I love whenever organisations do that! I was at a restraunt recently which used a train coach to house a whole restaurant which was great although it kind of felt shoe horned in given they barely did anything to preserve the seating or the styling, completely restoring it into a modernist style kich thing, but hey still a really cool experience!

Really hope they can sustain this because the DTC has barely made an efforts to preserve any other parts of its history and this would be the first big step and I have been advocating about this (read: complaining to anyone who will listen) for a while now.

The DTC is going to preserve some of its old buses into food places it seems? I have been wanting a presevation effort from the DTC and I am quite happy with this, hopefully they expand this pilot program (and hopefully I can go there)

I mean TBF, article says some of them are 9 meter buses to, so back of the napkin math is obviously off, but also like, as a starting off point its good, Charging infrastructure is a longer term investment to build up the whole supply chain, Delhi is only now going to stop its older CNG buses this year after starting of with a few hundred buses back in 2019ish
