At the price the steam machine is, why not just build a PC?
You can try running a PID tune on the nozzle and see if that helps.

Matching would definitely be preferred, but given the fact that it's a first attempt at a product with a small form factor making swapping difficult, I see the mismatched symbols as a small concession to the overall experience.

I had the idea of using some stickers for mine if I really want the hardware to match the software.
Physically no, but you could use something like Pastiera to remap them in software.
They say 5 years of security updates on their website.
You can remap the keys however you like.
I think they are great, my wife, not so much. I'm sad that they are only being offered for National Soup month.
