He is acting like he doesn't bear responsibility for Trump being in office to put those plaques up in the first place.

This is less of a "look what that fool did" for Rogan and more of a "hey look what I did in helping make this shit stain your president."

Don't worry Joe we all know what you did.

Anyone that makes this claim deserves to put their life where their mouth is. What's good for the gander is good enough for the fucking goose.

If Republicans didn't have double standards, they would have no standards at all. They would just selectively enforce and wear the hypocrisy as a badge like fascists do. It'd just be a way to flex their power while giving them a new way to attack and harass.

I generally agree "both sides" is a shitty argument, but thinking democrats are going to save us is naive. Time and again they have shown us who bought their vote, while ignoring those who voted for them. They will happily take your money and smile while mitigating any real impact you could have on the status quo.

The reality is both parties are beholden to their wealthy donors over the needs of the average American.

The right exists to ratchet us to the right toward fascism, and the corporate Democrats are there to make sure things don't shift too far left when Republicans lose power. Notice how democrats stopped taking about universal Healthcare and spent 0 air time talking about the needs of the average American in the 2024 election? Much easier to push the most regressive antiimmigration legislation they've ever pushed, basically giving Republicans the groundwork for the shit we see today. I say democrats but it's not Progressives that run the party, money backs the corporate Dems.

Money has poisoned our political system and until we do away with money in elections we will have a broken system that serves only those with lots of money.

The Democratic party broke the Democratic party by letting the mask slip and showing that when push comes to shove, the Corporate Democrats find fascism to be just fine with their wealthy benefactors interests.

After years of the party using "this might be the end of democracy" for campaign purposes, their actions show they either don't care or are actively on board with ending it. In a conflict where monied interests are trying to destroy our nation and rebuild it to solely their interests, is it surprising that those who have fattened themselves with that money are rendered ineffective?

You might even call them the controlled opposition, a failsafe to ensure things don't shift too far left. I remember how the DNC put their finger on the scales and gave us Biden, and then instead of giving us a choice played games and threw Kamala at us rather than open a primary. But hey the DNC machine made money from donations from people desperate to keep fascism at bay... and the reality of the threat only made them more money.

From my perspective based on their actions in this defining moment, corporate Democrats are not our friends and will choose to enrich themselves instead of fight for us at every self-interested opportunity.

We desperately need to get money out of politics.

Every time I see Republicans taking a new low on attacking trans people, all that tells me is that's how Republicans deserve to be treated in the future.

When I see Republicans calling for the erasure of trans people, what do you think that tell me Republicans deserve to be treated like?

Thank them with a free guillotine ride right?

Yeah but his job review with daddy Putin says he's doing the bigliest bestest job as a Russian asset. I'm not sure what he would do differently if he was an asset out in the open.

He's isolating us from the world by alienating our allies and cozying up with dictators. Has completely bastardized the justice department into his personal bribe machine. How much has he gotten from court payouts where the plaintiff had a slam dunk case but knows winning would be worse since Trump can then use the government apparatus to attack them? 3 or 4 if my count is close...

The man is a flat out traitor to his nation and is using the gullible and ignorant as his foundation, base, or Al Quaeda if you will... I hope the gullible and ignorant figure their shit out before they get swept further up in something that was never ever going to benefit them and could cause them to lose everything.

Every Republican deserve to be treated the way they treat the most marginalized groups.

I mean clearly he didn't know the guy right? “I’ve known Jeff [Epstein] for 15 years. Terrific guy,” Trump told New York magazine in 2002. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

It's not like they talked extensively about their relationship.... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/nov/01/trump-jeffrey-epstein-tapes

Good thing we don't have multiple testimonies of Trump's proclivity for sexual misconduct... especially involving Epstein... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/oct/25/trump-sexual-misconduct-allegations-timeline

At least there aren't claims he raped children!!! Oh wait this never got through the courts because the plaintiff was having their life threatened. You'd think Trump would want to clear his name but he didn't seem to think he could. https://www.courthousenews.com/rape-allegations-refiled-against-trump/

But he's never had a reputation as a predator OR a creep! Oh... "From walking into a teen dressing room to joking about his obligation to sleep with contestants, Trump's a storied pageant creep" https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/a-timeline-of-donald-trumps-creepiness-while-he-owned-miss-universe-191860/

You're right. If I ignore all of the evidence to the contrary, there's clearly no relationship and Donald obviously can't be a pedophile rapist that was heavily involved in Epsteins schemes. It's why Trump clearly didn't have him killed. Just a "perfect storm of screw ups" with multiple hardware failures and zero witnesses to the death of one of the highest profile criminals at the time under the Trump DOJ watch. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Jeffrey_Epstein
