The few beneficiaries of social media include criminals. Drug dealers “reach teens on Snapchat they would never encounter in real life”

lol what? no they meet at school or on the block. how are they going to pick up the drugs?

I like the quests more than skyrim

It's certainly mismanaged. I haven't paid for anything, but the single player stuff seems to be coming together, though I remember not being blown away by anything I saw.

I think the release for the single player game is clearly in sight with the 1 hour demo they showed last year.

It's pretty useful replacing stack overflow that could also generate code specific to your project. It's also useful for testing. Like any tool, it has its use cases.

i'd argue this is even better than an offical remake https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2M0hrLoA5M

upgraded to modern engine, ability to use existing gameplay mods, create new graphics and materials, and vr support

i think it does but there are diminishing returns and it wont save a bad game.

[–] darkkite@lemmy.ml 5 points 9 months ago

I would be surprised if that was the cause.

i have the money but not the space. i used to have a subscription back in ps2-ps3 gen but the world has changed. now i just follow a few people on youtube, pateron and use sites like this or reddit for news.

I think it looks better just some parts are probably too bright compared to the original but the shadows being physically accurate is a noticeable improvement.

It's because the contract sony signed with marvel back in the day stipulated that they must create a new Spider-Man movie every few years or lose the rights.

The contract specifies two key production windows:

Sony must start production within 3 years and 9 months after the previous film's release They must release the next film within 5 years and 9 months after the previous film's release There's also an important exception: if Sony releases three pictures within eight consecutive years, they can extend these deadlines to 5 years for starting production and 7 years for release

Adding OpenAI to their cloud products and windows 11 highlights a missed opportunity to have AI vertically integrated in their mobile products.

this is pretty useful when using RES or baconreader.
