btop is the bestest system monitor for me.

Maybe I got too complacent with htop... btop is purrrrdy.

Thanks!

Edit: OK yeah, btop is my new favorite. Still atop if I want history it looks like, but I can do everything I like about htop in btop so far.

And it looks real nice too

The middle ground, IMO, is not letting it spit out code.

Its almost certainly terrible, every time. Sometimes though... Its just mostly bad.

Ive found it useful for finding errors and potential optimizations though. Just not, you know, letting it actually write anything.

But letting it review and seeing:

This library is currently being considered for deprecation on this mailing list, where other library is being suggested instead.

Thats useful! Helpful, even.

Just not the nonsense it makes on its own.

must say I hit a nerve here, hence unpopular opinion.

Not really. Its just a stupid opinion.

If anything - this minority of republicans you are speaking of should be called "neo-nazi".

"Neo" = "New".

So still a Nazi, just newer. Your complaint is we don't specify that the modernized Nazis are modernized by name. That is what "neo" means. Modernized or revived.

So let's recap - your complaint is that the current batch is not specifically called 'new'.

Its not that your opinion is unpopular, its that your opinion is just really fucking stupid.

Edit: It would seem I am the one who struck a nerve, for pointing out how incredibly stupid it is to specify that these people are, in fact, not 90yr old former members of the Nazi party in Germany.

I believe that was $20b, not $2b.

And twice over now, for a total of $40b.

Personally I like fastfetch with dacrabs tweaks.

In terms of distributions, I'm not a good example of "so cool!". Its pretty much just Debian. Stable for servers (with proxmox mostly), stable for my main desktop, two machines with Trixie and Sid respectively, then two test boxes with arch and endeavouros (for laziness purposes).

I like LMDE as a rec for others, though I prefer it with KDE which is no longer explicitly supported, so meh.

For family, if I'm doing it, its Deb stable all the way. Even my htpc's are deb stable.

Government work operates on prevailing wage, can't specify union or not.

Whether or not they abided by this requirement I couldn't say.

Was OJ Simpson a rapist along with being a violently abusive and a murderer? Because I think Trump just likes rich rapists like himself, I don't know that OJ counts.

Interestingly enough, cheaper on bluray at about ~$70 than on DVD at around $120.

Though cheaper still would be a yard sale, the library, or the high seas.

This is my issue now, I need more storage and the prices are ridiculous. I dont see them getting better soon, either, so I'm probably going to buy new.

Slight clarification there...

Oral contraceptives were approved by the FDA, but the first that went for fda approval as a contraceptive wasn't until a year later, 1961. It wasn't available in all states until 1965.

And most crucially, it was not available to unmarried women in all states until 1972.

Which all coincides with exactly what I said.

Again, precipitous drop after the great recession. How does that, at all, relate to the (then 50 yr old) existence of the birth control pill?

Why are you assuming these were the non voters?

It seems far more likely that these are the voters. There are still many, many, many less people protesting than voted.
