I just realized thunder+bird is wordplay for fire+fox. Damn am I slow.

So I moved out recently and discovered I pretty much only know how to prepare scrambled eggs and smoothies.

I've been trying to find cool cooking resources online, but most feel like are just either clickbait or advertising me a lot of garbage (that vibe reminds me of toxic fitness channels).

Any good resources you guys may know? It doesn't necessarily have to be YouTube channels, extra points if it has beginner level recipes, easily findable ingredients or it's funny to follow. Thanks! :)

NTA, that shouldn't rob your sleep tho, it's something that will happen, and kind of inevitable once reaching critical mass.

Despite that, I think there is nothing wrong with wanting to migrate useful content from dedicated communities into a safer, better platform. If you think about it, that content was never Reddit's, It was from the community, for the community.

People reposting low effort content and memes for engagement kinda suck tho.

I found this handy reference a while ago. But yeah, we are kinda screwed.

I think it's just survivorship bias, kinda like mastodon. The people inclined to come here are probably anti-corporate, and sick of current social media's bullshit.
