Yeah, that's what I had in mind. I didn't know it would be this much effort to implement though. Is this a new thing? Apps like Boost and Sync can be set to handle feddit.nl links.
There is some contact info on the instance's page. Would it help you if i were to contact the owner/admin?

I used to rely on Sway for terminal tabs and splits. Only recently did I realize that tmux is the better option, even for local use. Already used tmux for SSH sessions.

Just for my understanding, and then I'll stop bothering you on this, I promise. Larger instances like lemmy.world, lemmy.ml, and some of the (probably) smaller ones like feddit.de and feddit.it are supported. At least I can select those in the "Open by default" dialog. So for those instances you did work with the instance admins to get those to work? So it's more than just adding those domains to the
AndroidManifest.xml
file?
