I'm in software development, but not Android/mobile app development.

Just for my understanding, and then I'll stop bothering you on this, I promise. Larger instances like lemmy.world, lemmy.ml, and some of the (probably) smaller ones like feddit.de and feddit.it are supported. At least I can select those in the "Open by default" dialog. So for those instances you did work with the instance admins to get those to work? So it's more than just adding those domains to the AndroidManifest.xml file?

I do, mostly.

But I also get links (from myself or others) to posts on feddit.nl.

Is that correct?

Yeah, that's what I had in mind. I didn't know it would be this much effort to implement though. Is this a new thing? Apps like Boost and Sync can be set to handle feddit.nl links.

There is some contact info on the instance's page. Would it help you if i were to contact the owner/admin?

You can count to 12 on one hand if you point your thumb to the bones on your other four fingers.

  • Muscle memory. I already did development on remote machines in nvim.
  • If I start tmux in the root of a project, then every new pane or window I open automatically starts in that directory. So no need to cd to the root for every new shell session I start.

Yeah. Pretty much all of the above.

I used to rely on Sway for terminal tabs and splits. Only recently did I realize that tmux is the better option, even for local use. Already used tmux for SSH sessions.
