News on car sales are always presented as monthly or by quarter.
That way, everyone gets a participation trophy by breaking the records in the period that they actually deliver a new model to the tarmac.
I don't blame the news outlets. Reporting on record car sales is kind of boring when the 1966 Toyota Corolla is still the most sold car.
I have no doubt that Tesla actually managed to peak for a while in the category "American sales of electric pick-ups trucks".

All military parades are ridiculously embarrassing.
I remember when they used to air the annual Scottish tattoo on tv.
I mean, it's probably fun for anyone who participates or has a hard on for bagpipes, but for the rest of the world, it's a ridiculous event where an audience shows up to watch men in uniform walk in beat and show their rifles in sync. It's like square dancing, but only for men, and longer guns.
Good thing that I can switch channels, so I can watch syncronized swimming from the Olympics instead. I like their uniforms better.

Sure thing. This post is about Denmark though, where the nuclear power has been banned by hippies in the 80s, and the same old idiots now decline expanding solar power because they prefer to look at fields of manure instead of solar panels.
Money isn't the issue.
Nimby'ism is preventing the expansion of solar and wind. Nimby'ism will also prevent the building of a large nuclear plant.
I hope the change of law will enable more research on modern nuclear power.
They closed down all, about 1400 small farms, in 2020.
The ban was removed in 2023. 6 larger farms have reopened since then, comparable to 15 of the previous farms.
It was a total shit show, but at least the clean up forced all the skeletons out of the closet.

Jeg så noget af det samme i en nyhed on køkkenhaver om metoden no-dig gardening . Ideerne må vel også kunne omsættes til større landbrug.
