The daycare called me at work freaking out and asking me to come get my daughter and get her to the doctor because she was pissing red. Turns out they had been feeding her beetroot.

Long egg is a good example of processed food. It only contains one ingredient (egg), but it's far superior to a regular egg for the intended purpose (sandwiches).

EU has an allow system, which is the reason the CyberTrucks is not on the EU market. It would not be able to pass the safety requirements if they attempted.

On a similar note, the EU also has an allow system for all vehicles already on the road. Every single vehicle is inspected every two years, with the first check for new cars being after 4 years. This system keeps older rusty cars away from the roads.

Tesla's other models have an issue passing even the first test. It's the brand with the highest failing rate of all car brands.

I think there's a mathematical issue here: There's no limit on living standards.

If we decrease the population, they'll simply want more.

Billionaires buy the second yacht because it's easier than transporting the first yacht to the other coast. On a smaller scales, I also buy 3 t-shirts so I can still have a choice of what to wear when the first one is in the washer. The choice is an unnecessary increase in my living standards.

If we go with your suggested figure of 500 million people, and these people should all have EU standards of living, we'd still be consuming more resources than the Earth can provide. It's not the 8 billion poor people who are taking the toll on the resources. Removing them wouldn't fix the issue.

I'd like to think that we can maintain a high living standard by technological advancement, but we do have to be realistic about it. Our living standards in the west are simply unsustainable, even if it was just us on entire globe.

Biosphere 2 didn't fail at sustaining plants.

It failed because they didn't account for the concrete structure sucking out oxygen.

There's a button on the side to make it spray.

The converging is really just a side effect of the spray function.

It's the taste. You have to try it.

Not open source, but I use the free demo version of PDF-xchange for the most common editing tools. Highlight and draw boxes and comment etc.

It doesn't actually matter what you use to edit it. The key to locking it down is simply to print to pdf as image instead of saving as pdf. I use the "Microsoft print to pdf printer" to do this. It's in the printing dialogue.

The document is now a fixed picture. This will obviously also ruin the search feature.

At least it had

I get that. What I don't get is what the solution is

The entire world is holding their breath waiting for Trump and Putin to die of natural causes. And even then, it's a pretty vague hope for things to be ever so slightly better.

Remember his first term? The one where ICE put kids in cages, lost a lot of them, and some died? Starting to ring a bell?

Then, do you also remember all the prosecutions against ICE agents during the following administration?

If you do, please link it, because I sure as fuck don't remember reading it.

Most other countries don't have police violently attack you and send you to some jungle prison for not carrying an ID.
