Remember to say toodle-oo like an old lady while waving.

I'll have you know that I put my entire OS installation on a broken USB stick that I found on a parking lot.

The plastic case keeps falling off, but it works fine.

Would you believe anyone who told you?

Because that would be the actual problem.

An almighty God doesn't need humans or churches to spread the story.

It's not like Denmark is a stranger to poor choices for ice cream.

The same company also offers this one:

The people ought to follow ICE and start circling around their homes.

Some union agreements have rules against that, so that they're obliged to inform you in advance if the meeting has potential consequences for your employment.

Or, it can be more subtle, that they are obliged to inform you of your right to bring an observer to the meeting.

It won't save you from getting sacked, but it might give you a better chance of getting compensated when the company inevitably forgets to do it right..

I miss my first apartment. I had more furniture, but life was simple. At least for a while.

My mistake was to help a friend out by inviting him for a beer after work. He had broken up with his girlfriend and needed a place of his own. I got him into an apartment in my building. Big mistake. The guy just couldn't figure out how to be alone by himself. Every day just as I got home from work and sat down in my lawnchair, he'd ring my doorbell within 5 minutes wanting to hang out. It was alright for a while, but I soon got enough of socializing in all my free time. I'd rather be alone and do creative projects and such.

I told him off several times and explained how I needed personal time for myself, but he'd be back the very next day, not understanding how personal time could possibly take more than a few hours.

For the remaining time I lived there, I'd leave the door open, and just go on about my day whether or not he was around. The serenity was broken anyway.

All the movies by Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill.

It doesn't matter which one, because the plot is always the same.

I like the idea, but unfortunately most PCs don't boot from USB out of the box. It requires a few easy steps, but this might just be enough for a lot of people not to try it.

He goes on a rant, saying out loud what everyone is thinking.

This is unusual for him.

Personally I liked the start of it more, where he clearly and simply explains some basic facts that a lot of people need to understand.

The alternative might be worse. If light was faster than the expansion of the observable universe, the entire sky would eventually be bright as all the stars combined.
