we don't like to admit it but Benny Blanco is second choice now isn't it

a more nuanced answer would be "depends on the opposition"

Where does Isak actually go?

Which teams are 1. Doing well 2. Can afford him and his wages 3. Don't have a striker ?

build up from the back > lose the ball to an interception > scramble to stop a counter > win the ball back > repeat ad nauseam

We're not doing anything against Madrid with this sort of play

signing a free agent as a striker would be so exciting rn

I'll probably not watch the boys play until pre-season. It'll be tough overcoming PSV without Sakanelli.

I'd have to go through two seasons out of top 4 to become arteta out.

I could stop watching and go play a soulslike

Early subs from Mikel? Oh my days...

I'd like to write a piece on this sort of rhetoric.

I'm also surprised why places like r slash soccercirclejerk haven't started making fun of these. Maybe they're too busy whining about the club that defeated their favourite club?

Anyway, it's funny how culture war propaganda has intersected with football discourse.

Full strength squad against Madrid would have been fun, but with fucking Merino up top? Idk man.

These lot are so dependent on instant gratification that their tantrums after an embarrassing defeat are a sight to behold.

All the salty tears shed on Myles' celebration and the whole "This is what Haaland meant btw" meme have all originated in the past couple of days.

Bernardo Silva who fouled and kicked Trossard when he was down really is the embodiment of this whole feeling of entitlement, which also reminds me of Rodri's statement after the Away fixture in which he said we were only playing for a draw. They just act so hurt when an unlikely opposition sounds the bell signaling the end of their dominance.

Now they're mocking us after the Newcastle defeat - proper childish behaviour if I'm honest.

When all else fails, they revert back to trophy logic. Because it's dumb, lacks nuance and breaks down the whole "debate" to a numbers game.
