yes we did. you got tapes in the mail. there were services for it. there were conventions. it was just a lot smaller than it is now.

i was more intrigued when i read this as "the shouting of cows", and now i'm just disappointed
he could be technically alive. just enough. he might be kept technically alive for a while yet.
it's probably hell in whatever remains of his mind. a nightmare two months long.
