If their job is a cop, then they'd be somewhat correct in that notion?

Maybe you've been believing the wrong propaganda?

8th to 43rd is quite a bit of cognitive dissonance

IN A RECENT survey of the British public, respondents were asked where they believed the country ranked in the global manufacturing league table. The median answer, 43rd, was a little wide of the mark. The latest comparable data, for 2021, make Britain the world’s eighth-biggest manufacturer, up one place from 2020 and (better still) overtaking France.

On May 28, 2016, Dejean-Jones was killed when he was shot after kicking open the locked front door and locked bedroom door of a Camden Belmont Dallas apartment which he mistakenly thought belonged to his girlfriend.

Why kick two locked doors in?

It's just a joke based on Gervais' style of 'jokes'

He's a bit of a cunt in real life, not dissimilar to his onstage performance, which he always says is just a joke...

His, I never saw anythingness, about Charlie Hanson always seemed sus as well

True. But their business model is auctioning ads to the highest bidder when we search for relevant things, they just nailed search when people were still using Yahoo and AltaVista.

I remember using metacrawler.com a lot before Google came along

It's just a newer form of publishing. A quick Google, which is just a yellow pages with search, says 1488

From what I've gathered from others who've been bothered by them, they are a 'tankie' who fantasises about communism and thinks China is still a communist state. That they do so while living in a western democracy using all the tools of freedom of expression is an irony that's lost on them

I was wondering the same, does not apply to UK journalism style apparently

Use all capitals if an abbreviation is pronounced as the individual letters (an initialism): BBC, CEO, US, VAT, etc; if it is an acronym (pronounced as a word) spell out with initial capital, eg Nasa, Nato, Unicef
