At least VW is kinda open about it, and as far as I know, they even built a memorial…

I mean, the least thing as a company you can do now, is to be open about everything and make an effort that this shit never happens again!

On Reddit I looked at so many posts on one day, on Lemmy I read like 2 posts but go in the comments much more often. Actually I look at more comments than posts, which I find better!

The browser that manages to somehow get even more spyware than chrome?

I actually use chromium to do watch party’s. As you can disable hardware acceleration and for some reason the Netflix DRM doesn’t work anymore. (So I can stream the video to friends on dc)

But otherwise I never had problems with Firefox.

When I use a computer for a few months my ~/ always gets so “messy”, I hate it!

That actually brings me to my next point: Why does Windows allow Kernel-Level Programs?! Like, I do not trust Vanguard! (And I don’t understand why people do…)

Ok yeah, good point. Firefox has never done that to me, but maybe it’s different on Linux, I don’t know. But thanks!

In Linux you can actually (un)install features you want (or don’t want) without the whole system breaking.

Also: Why the hell does Microsoft Edge run in the background all of the time?!
