What a non-issue. From Microsoft's immutable laws of security, written decades ago:

Law #3: If a bad actor has unrestricted physical access to your computer, it's not your computer anymore.

The classic example was an attacker can simply take a baseball bat to your system if they have physical access

That's an entirely different situation then. That's just the power of networking

Networking is 100% the easiest way to get a job. The people that have networking don't need advice. 99% of the job hunting advice is with the assumption you don't have a network you can rely on for finding jobs. Because if you did, you wouldn't be having trouble finding a job

Even if the entire state government were Republican, it wouldn't pass. This bill is basically the definition of governmental virtue signaling

Businesses require VPNs to function. Banning them would decimate Michigan's economy. The only thing these people truly value is money
