You keep making assumptions. Perhaps I'm not American. Perhaps I grew in a regime where lies were a weapon, or paheraps I grew up watching one form.

Maybe my father was full of lies, maybe my mother or maybe even both. Maybe I'm undercover or live a lie for other reasons. Perhaps I'm a journalist who has to lie to get the truth out.

Perhaps I'm none, but one thing we all know is that you thun you're always right, especially when you know precisely nothing about the facts of thr matter.

Believe me when I tell you that you have no idea about what systemized lying looks like over generations and generations.

That there's true privilege. You seem to believe people have a choice in every and all situations. Unbearably naive, as it was said.

So, bullies, good for you. How about all the rest and don't you forget world peace while you're at it.

You seem to be able to do anything! In writing, at least.

They influence not only elections but the general opinion about a lot of things.

I have several people close to me who has been sceptical about the reach of Russian disinformation in the years leading up to us joining NATO, and this is just the latest in many events that has proven very useful for showcasing just how integrated that disinformation is in our daily life. This while we are better at countering them than most, supposedly. Just talking about them in school is not enough anymore. They're fucking cockroaches and more of this is needed. Preferably on a daily basis.

Because that's obviously the only thing this applies to. I'm sure you've confronted bullies, mobs, attempted rapes, beatdows, overdoses, etc, all on your own with no help whatsoever.

It's sad that we all can't be superheroes like you. It would make life so much easier.

Thankfully, you can solve everything all on your own, though. Apparently, this goes all the way back to your childhood, too. Where would this world be without your service, I wonder?

You must've been fun to be around as a teenager, no doubt. Jfc.

From the same time period and set of circumstances. I have a soon-to-be teenager myself now, and we've set up a few failsafes for exactly these situations. If "shit gets weird," he knows we've got his back, no questions asked.

Kids can be cruel, and you never know who might show up unannounced, for example. He's a strong little guy, but if say three drunk older kids appear to to tune someone up I wouldn't expect him to get in between, nor make himself a natural secondary target by calling in an obvious way. This would negate that, for example. I had a rough childhood myself and no parents I could trust, so it seemed like an important thing to have. It has proven very useful once already. He quite literally saved a girl he didn't even know from getting smacked around by some asshole.

In Finland, it'd be considered polite.

As in, Kan du hjälpa mig, snälla du? for example.

I'm not sure who is hallucinating harder anymore, the AI or the people supposedly in charge of said AIs and it's fucking scary.
