I want to argue with you, but that's pretty accurate. The only time I'll admit I'm at fault is if I know who actually screwed up. I'll say, "My mistake, I'll get that fixed right away," then I'll privately message the real culprit.

But if I know it was me then I'm picking one off this list and kicking the can down the road. I'm the stereotypical lazy and spineless programmer.

SpoilerI find myself more upset about Gaitok. He was so sweet and had ethics that were much firmer than most characters in the show. He realized the woman he loved didn't love him, but she was willing to if he gave up that part of himself. And he was ready to walk away from the job that he knew clashed with his beliefs.

But in the end that version of Gaitok died when he pulled the trigger. Maybe the new version will be happy, but I was sad to see him go. Chelsea obviously as well, but nobody else seems as affected by Gaitok as I am.

Now I'm curious what is happening at your apartment that could possibly be worse than this.

I'm normally about respecting people's wishes, but that is so unhealthy I'd be scrubbing everything despite her objections. Or at least overhauling the room you're stuck in when she's not looking. Let her yell at you.

That's how I read it too. If the title was "Astronomers find distant galaxy with organic compounds" I wouldn't bat an eye.

After the Kent State Massacre I don't think there is any doubt in our minds that the military will fire on us. In addition we have an incredibly militarized police force that also has complete authority and desire to kill citizens. I don't foresee the two clashing, which would be our only hope of a relatively bloodless revolution.

We just assume every country is like that.

I was annoyed by the change at first, but now it's my favorite intro of the three. I was really hoping for an extended version, but that doesn't seem likely now. The music is always perfect and integral, so Mike White is an idiot for not listening to him.

I have a good '08 car that I bought with cash 10 years ago for $3000. I got it from a guy who exclusively sells and fixes this model of car. I went back last year to get my car fixed and looked at the cars he was selling. '08s were starting at $5000.

I was hoping for something more like this:

A Knights Tale (2001). Sits in kind of a weird space, and didn't do great critically. A loose retelling of a story from The Canterbury Tales set in the 1300s but with modern references and music. A lot of it feels formulaic.

Yet I think the movie is great. There's some amazing chemistry between the actors (Heath Ledger, Alan Tudyk, Paul Bettany, Mark Addy, Rufus Sewell). The story may be a bit easy to predict sometimes, but the emotional beats hit incredibly hard. I can't really describe why it works, because it probably shouldn't.

I don't understand how 6 people inside their own private building constitutes a serious disruption. How can the police possibly spin that? There's no way this would be the headline if they were building bombs or something illegal.

Importantly, up until this point innie-Mark has pretty much always done what would benefit, or at least not disrupt, outie-Mark. This is the first time he's done something purely for himself, knowing it isn't what his outie wants. Even if it's doomed, it's his only taste of independence.

That was the first thing I thought of! What a throwback. I loved that game, even if the art was a little lacking.

Wanted a loaded hot dog but found out half way through we only had mini-dogs.

Mini hotdogs and cheddar cheese broiled on a hotdog bun. Loaded up with rice, broccoli, oyster sauce, and Sriracha.

Ended up being delicious. A real hotdog would have been better; the minis kept falling out or moving with each bite. I'd put the Sriracha under the rice next time. It mostly ended up smearing on my face.

I saw an article about keelhauling and realized I don't know much about pirates (those on the sea, not the internet) beyond what I've seen in movies. Tell me your most interesting pirate facts. Mythical or historical.

My son is obsessed with Mario LEGO and had his own little table in the corner of the LEGO room. It was overflowing and my wife hated how messy it looked. While she was away for a few days I made this.

Two partial sheets of 3/4" birch plywood with French cleats attached, painted white, were mounted on the walls. Then the desk just slots into the second-lowest cleat, using the bottom cleat as support.

As he grows we can raise the desk a couple times, eventually bringing it up to 29" from the ground which is about regular desk height.

I also made a few shelves and a box for him to organize with out of the plywood scrap.

He likes that he can rearrange his storage as he pleases. I made a couple more medium-sized shelves that aren't pictured, and I may someday make a corner triangular shelf for Bowser to sit on.
