No one should be visiting the US for the foreseeable future.

There are no rules. Everything is made up to their convenience.

I love the little ohno blob. I hope it'll be ok

I had nothing but trouble with this distro.

I still recommend EndeavourOS as the superior option, as just sane default Arch with same repos.

I could also then double as a computer in desktop mode, which would be kind of cool

Great, thanks for the input!

If I recall, they tried to be authentic but hired a fraud by accident. XD

What's your resolution and refresh rate on the monitor?

[–] _Nico198X_@piefed.europe.pub 2 points 21 hours ago (6 children)

Sorry I'm not really sure what you're saying. XD

Hey all!

My main gaming desktop is down for maintenance, which gets me thinking more about my steam deck.

Does anyone have any experience out putting to a monitor? What resolution do you use?

The SD's strength is still limited, so what kind of resolution/refresh rate can it reasonably output?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

I can't get over the fact that all of Chakotay's native American stuff is just made up. XD

hello fellow Whovians!

we have a LONG wait until the Christmas special. XD thankfully there is no shortage of EXCELLENT and novel DW stories available to us courtesy of Big Finish!

i've decided to start the adventures of the Fugitive Doctor! it comes in two sets, three episodes each. episode length is like modern Who.

Jo Martin as The Doctor remains a presence! larger than life and with great range. a real joy to spend time with.

And this is definitely The Fugitive, and NOT The Agent! She is on the run from Division and not doing jobs for them.

As we know from the show, her memory is regularly wiped. This brings us in to a Doctor who doesn't really know herself outside of the special ops work she does for Division. Yet underneath the rough and hurting exterior still beats the two hearts of the Time Lord we know and love, and that comes out when she lets herself let go and follow her hearts instead of her head.

This first adventure, 'Fast Times', sets us off running and has many action sequences and surprises! Jo Martin kept me riveted as the complexities of her Doctor slowly unfolded for me throughout the action of the story, and thankfully not through exposition.

When designing this series the creators did consult with Chibnall, but it became clear that the "truth" of the Fugitive was as up in the air for him as much as us. This provides the creative team a lot of freedom to explore a new era and approach to The Doctor.

Lots of fun and a promising start for this series!

some great changes coming!

i'm excited about all of this! great to see All-Kill getting this kind of love, and happy about the fog vial changes!

what do you think?
