Why is it that once you get more money than sense your brain breaks? Shit look at elon, he only started doing nazi stuff too after he was the richest man on earth and cash meant nothing anymore. It's all ego now, the only currency you can have after material objects aren't a problem. An authority that doesn't adhere to any laws ends up getting removed outside of the law. It ends with violence because the administration is stamping out alternatives. If you aren't allowed to protest or vote or disagree then the only outlet for change becomes physical and not via official channels.

They're not necessarily dumb but they are one track minded. Democrats focus on a wide net approach to governing, voting to help the most people even if it means you personally don't benefit directly from policies. Takes years for social nets to build up and benefit you/the masses. Republicans won't vote for you if they don't directly benefit immediately. That sort of government is short sighted and not concerned with consequences later.

These people can't say "I've won capitalism, I want to have a nothing Saturday in my robe and suntan then watch a movie", they think "if I'm not blasting 24/7 every day then someone else is going to get to do nothing on Saturdays in a bath robe instead" and can't turn the hate/work/etc off. They equate someone else winning to themselves losing. Can't have anyone else be happy, they'd rather everyone be miserable. If we laugh, they lose.
