It's worst under a VPN. Eventually, I can get it to initiate a download. 5 to 10 attempts v. 2-3 without a VPN. 🤔

So, as of 21.01.2025, newpipe is unusable once again in c/[email protected]

New version of Newpipe just dropped. Working much better now

I love the fact that shows Fediverse replies for #PeerTube videos as comments. in c/[email protected]

Now, if Newpipe could get around the VPN pinch. Starting Saturday, Proton VPN can't display or download YouTube videos. I've had to place it on the VPN bypass list, which really slows down the DL speed. Love Newpipe, hate Google.

Also installed Tubular. Glad to see the imports are interchangeable.
