An interesting read. I've heard stories of the same. It seems very irresponsible to tank a grade because a thing told you to while accusing a student of doing a thing because something told them to do it that way. It seems so muddy that I'm not surprised.

If nobody in the room can explain their logic, then maybe it isn't decision making time.

I've played the first Mirrors Edge to like 75% maybe three times over the years since it released. I just started downloading the second today. Do you think it is ill advised to skip the last quarter of the first? It has been a while since I played it and I feel like I would burn out again.

Great game. I think it's me.

Interesting that the District 9 director is involved with the parent company.

I thought Game Informer had some cool stuff. I really liked the second opinion on reviews, that tiny box inside the full review. It was fun to pick a side when they were at odds.

That variety article is useless. It just misconstrued the GQ one.

Do you have a coherent thought or postmortem on your time with the Batman character?

I had a really good time. I loved doing the Batman movie. I loved Batman v Superman. And I liked my brief stints on The Flash that I did and when I got to work with Viola Davis on Suicide Squad for a day or two. In terms of creatively, I really think that I like the idea and the ambition that I had for it, which was of the sort of older, broken, damaged Bruce Wayne. And it was something we really went for in the first movie.

But what happened was it started to skew too old for a big part of the audience. Like even my own son at the time was too scared to watch the movie. And so when I saw that I was like, “Oh shit, we have a problem.” Then I think that’s when you had a filmmaker that wanted to continue down that road and a studio that wanted to recapture all the younger audience at cross purposes. Then you have two entities, two people really wanting to do something different and that is a really bad recipe

My first instinct was Slime Rancher, so I'm going with that. 😊

I thought Thunderbird was unaffected by the FF ToS changes?

I was ready to push back some but the title is misleading. He just said midrange adult films face a tougher time.

I feel like I got a lot of options.

I wish it had a solution for text channels and image sharing. Even if it meant paying for a server. My friends wouldn't use it without.

It says they are changing whoms view it is from. I haven't read the comics. Is that how it is in that?

I liked the Cruise flick.

I feel like his ability to slide and block survivors is going to make him an absolute monster.

Watch Double Indemnity and Body Heat same day or next day for a genre experience.

I'm seeing how often small updates break mods and wondering how people keep up. I thought maybe people froze themselves to certain versions for just combat and related changes, but now I'm realizing people probably do it for certain mods.

I'm newer to modding but I can't imagine the game without Alex's Mobs. So I guess I'll remain in 1.20.1. I've also just created my first mod and I can't imagine repeating the process over and over again.

I'm new to having Linux on my main rig. It's been about a month now. I'm hoping someone has a better way to handle focus while gaming.

I used to, on Windows 10, hit the Windows key to then fiddle with my panel and other opened programs (or alt+tab). In Linux Mint, I have the issue that the Super key doesn't focus the panel and menu, only the menu. I know the reasons for this but functionally It is what I wish it did.

On top of that, alt + tab yanks the cursor to the center of the game screen after initially swapping to the other program. Pushing the super key alone does this as well. But ctrl+alt+down does allow me to swap focus, but it isn't as quick to do.

I'm new so I'm thinking maybe there is a better way to quickly swap focus or even better to kill it from centering the mouse on the game occasionally when swapping around.

I hope you will stop by and take a look. If you blog, say hi. I may add you to my blog roll. No ads or anything like that, I'm just having fun and getting to know people.
