While I agree that arson is wrong and should be illegal, it wasn't a federal crime last time I checked. This should be handled by the state attorney general in the state where it happened.

This literally happened to my great grandfather in the late 1920s. He bought a car, got distracted by the sight of a pretty lady, and drove into a swamp. He was yelling "whoa! whoa!" and pulling back on the steering wheel while the car went off the road. That is what he had done his whole life to stop a horse drawn buggy in an emergency. He told my grandfather, who was riding with him at the time, that he could have the car if he could get it out of the swamp. He said he was going back to his horse and buggy because a horse wouldn't have run off the road into a swamp no matter what he looked at. He continued to use a horse and buggy for all of his transportation needs until he died in the mid 1960s. #FuckCars

I always just used condoms. I only had unprotected sex with women I was willing to have kids with at times we both wanted kids. Over 50 years old, no unwanted pregnancies and no STDs ever. Condoms also help a man last longer in bed, which can help make it more enjoyable for your lady.

A reminder to people who call this an act of violence, it isn't. Violence can only be committed against living things. This is arson which is a type of vandalism. If there are people or animals inside, then it's violence. If only property is damaged it's vandalism or sabotage, depending on the purpose of the damage.

I hate cars and Mel Gibson but I love the Mad Max franchise. Mad Max (1979) Society is on the verge of collapse, so the presence of gasoline is still reasonable. The Road Warrior (1981) Society has collapsed but a group of civilized people have held onto an oil well with a small refinery. Beyond Thunderdome (1985) No one is driving. Max's car is mostly a status symbol. Barter Town runs on methane. Furiosa (2024) and Fury Road (2015) Warlords have formed an economy of slave labor based on control of bullets, sustenance and fuel. Throughout it all, Max struggles with PTSD induced psychosis and each time he has a chance to regain his humanity, he rejects the opportunity and wanders off into the wasteland alone. A never ending quest for vengeance which will never be satisfied. To hell with redemption.

We had Japanese Americans put into prison camps without a lawful reason or due process. Do you think American citizens with brown skin aren't being arrested and deported by this MAGA cult?
